Organization Skills at Home

Picture yourself driving down a road. You come to an intersection. There's not just one road that intersects with yours, but five cross roads all at the same intersection going different directions. You've just imagined what it is like to have ADHD. Your mind is often thinking in many different directions all at once. Crazy chaos - that's me! That's why I have piles of sticky notes and scraps of paper in my purse and piled on various flat surfaces throughout my home. This mess is total unorganization and leads to quite a chaotic life of mismanaged time and missed appointments. I'm always running late because I can't find what I need to get out the door on time!

I pondered what would really help make a difference in the chronic clutter and chaos - some organization skills at home. Not something to file or label, but actually something that would teach me organization skills at home and simplify my daily activities and calender. I found that when my organization skills at home were in order, my ADHD wasn't out of control and my mind was better focused and at ease.
